Brooklyn bridge recap
We all grabbed a rope and were blindfolded and we walked in a straight line across the bridge trusting one another that we would get there safely. Getting there we split up and had solo writing and were able to capture the beauty of new york. We got to see the statue of liberty and the empire state building which i havent seen before. It was a very interesting experience and i won’t forget...

Recap from last night… We went to the temple and we met mr b. He is a sikh who taught us about his religion and his way of life. We had to wear something over our hair at all times and we had to be barefoot. We slept in a room near the temple and witnessed the sunrise ceremony in the morning.

First we gathered as a group to meet. Then we went to the courtyard and interviewed one on one. We gathered as a group again and we talked about life in new york city and our differences. We noticed how different the school was from ours because of more security and more strict rules when moving about. We them met in central park and discussed stereo types and our false impressions of who there...

Lunch?
The kids just divided into two groups and are trying to find the best deal for lunch here in flushing, queens. Will recap the visit with the high schoolers after lunch. The weather is great!
